This is a BIG ride through the Adirondack Park to a fabulous destination showcasing the beauty of this massive state park. You’ll literally walk among the treetops of a forest at a special destination and you’ll dine on the shores of Lake Placid, at an elegant modern resort, during this all-day ride. This ride received some of our highest ratings in 2019. It’s a catered, guided ride with entry tickets to a special destination, valued at $60; sold at $49.

Your Ride: Explore the Adirondacks! This special tour will take you deep into the mountains on a 200+ mile ride. Yes, it’s long, but it is a fantastic route, giving you the best scenery of the Adirondack Park and its “High Peaks Region.” If you want to see the Adirondacks and its best sights, and you have the time (and a good seat), then THIS is the tour you want to choose.

Your Destination: You’ll LOVE this destination. It’s a nearly $30 million facility highlighting the unique beauty of the Adirondacks. You’ll have a ticket allowing you to walk along their treetop promenade overlooking a stunning view of the Adirondacks, which may be the highlight of your visit. People rated this stop (and tour) very highly, so the beautiful ride will have been well worth it.

Your Lunch: Take in the views of Mirror Lake in beautiful Lake Placid as you enjoy a delicious lunch of Sliced Sirloin with Olive Oil Braised Mushrooms, Pearl Onions and a Rosemary Demi Glaze, Balsamic Chicken (Marinated, Sauteed, and Topped with Dijon Glaze), Rigatoni Pomodoro, Whipped Potatoes, Fresh Chef’s Choice Vegetable, Mixed Garden Salad, Rolls, Black and White Layer Cake, Coffee, Tea, and Lemonade.

Remember, this is a long tour only offered on Thursday & Friday, but well worth it if you're up for the ride. It's about 210 miles round trip, returns after 5 pm, but you'll have an amazing tale to share with your friends.

WHAT IS A GUIDED RIDE? (psst, it's your best bet to a great day of riding.) SLKSN Meeting Room Grand Ballroom Rounds
Americade Guided Rides are group rides, with at least two tour guides, and are based on what we love about riding (great scenery, excellent and smooth roads, low traffic, and interesting stops). Plus, we find excellent lunch stops and negotiate great food prices for you. They are an Americade specialty and allow you to relax & ride, while our friendly guides lead you to a destination where a great lunch awaits you. Our guides provide some commentary via CB. Don't worry about maps, traffic, getting lost, breakdowns or finding a great lunch spot - We've got you covered.

Your day will begin by meeting your guide in the morning on the shores of Lake George, "The Queen of American Lakes" (according to Thomas Jefferson), surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains. We're confident that there is no prettier place to begin a ride. Once you meet your guides, your group will head out at a relaxed pace with your guides leading and following the group. Stops will take place at about an hour into the ride and after lunch. During the ride, feel free to ask your guides questions via CB radio.

So, if you're coming all the way up to the Adirondacks, why not guarantee yourself a great day of riding?

*This tour is only offered on Thursday & Friday!
