Re: Americade 2021 Announced

I just got the e mail announcing the new dates for Americade and watched the video. Everything Christian said makes sense. With luck, some of the restrictions will be lifted and things will be whatever the "new normal" is. September is my favorite riding month with cooler weather, but still not cold...

Happy New Year?

Well, for those of us that are still here, congratulations for surviving 2020.

There is one thing that troubles me though. When you pronounce 2021 it comes out 2020 WON.

Season's greetings

It's been very quiet here, I hope everyone is well and just busy trying to get past this year. The only thing I want for Christmas is a return to NORMAL. I'm too old to go through another "new normal" so I will end by sending good thoughts and wishes for everyone to come through this and return to ...

Re: Americade 2020

I'm sad to see that Americade has been canceled. I understand that the team worked very hard to make the many changes necessary for the date change while trying to keep up with the state's ever-changing requirements. I think the government's response to the virus was an attempt to reduce the infecti...

Re: Americade 2020

I really hope the Americade team can pull this off smoothly. I think we were all caught with our guard down this year and without getting political I hope we can survive this. I worry about those who are still in the workforce and those who will be joining it. What will be left when they are allowed...

I could tell you, but I think you know the answer.

Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.

This just in

I just received an e mail from MRF regarding a bill in Congress to address the new popularity of three wheeled vehicles in this country. Seems like a logical move but should it be forced by the US Government? The initial requirements appear to be too restrictive and would adversely impact the afford...

Re: Any good places you would recommend to look for a used t

Those are getting popular up here in the boonies. They seem to be pretty good light touring bikes and can run through the dirt as well. It should be lots of fun.

Re: Finally !!!!!

Goldwing fans are starting to understand how a trike should have been built in the first place. :P    http://reversedtrike.nl/en/ Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and we Spyder owners say welcome aboard !!!! Hmmm? Would that be called a Hyder or a Sponder?...

Bad news for Lehman fans

Lehman Trikes of Spearfish has suspended operations and may not reopen. The manufacturer of three-wheeled motorcycles said it was temporarily laying off a number of workers in November while it sought an investor, but it has been unable to complete the proposed sale, president and chief executive of...

Interesting idea, it probably would sell to those who are long time riders who don't keep the feeling of a two wheeler but have balance issues.

And those who don't want to downsize.

Hey trikermary, tell your Harley rider friends they don't know what they are missing. I have ridden Harleys most of my life and never went to Americade till last year. Unless they are "bar hoppers" that never ride more than 5 miles at a stretch they will have a blast. I've been a Laconia faithful fo...
