Trike gathering

A bunch of trikers from another forum are planning a breakfast meet on Saturday morning - would love more people there! Restaurant and time to posted soon.

I hope we can keep the same day & time as last year, & possibly have a ride during the week for those Trikers up there...

Tis, I'm pretty sure that's the plan - same place too, I believe. A ride during the week sounds good too. I'll be arriving Wednesday and leaving Sunday, so I'm hoping to ride at least one of those days!

We will be up there Saturday thru Saturday. Staying at Lake George RV Park. We would like to meet some people going out on rides during the week.

We have lots of time to plan a ride for this year. Need to plan it for the end of the week because so many come up for just the last few days. I'm up for a ride on Friday. Any ideas? We're all getting together for breakfast Sat. morning, maybe a ride after as we'll all be together already.

I'll e-mail you a nice, easy-to-ride loop that I've followed for years. It might be a good day's ride for your trike group, if a 250 mile day isn't out of the question for your party. I know trikes don't get the best gas mileage, and gas stops aren't that plentiful in the mountains. When you can find gas, it isn't cheap up there, either!

Don't forget the parade Saturday morning! They have a special gathering point for all the "parade trikes" (It was CVS Pharmacy, across from the Super8 Motel on Route 9 before) to join in the parade as a group for the ride to the top of Prospect Mountain.

Either Friday or after breakfast on Saturday sounds good to me! I'm sure WC's route is a great one - he's been going there for years! John Luciano and Tis will also be there, and they've also been going/riding up there for years (can't remember how long you said you'd been going). I've only ridden up there once, so I'm just going to play follow the leader!
